Orangutans Around Every Corner
Woke up to the sounds of nature, spotting curious orangutans right outside. The staff was warm and attentive, always eager to share tips for wildlife viewing.
It detracted slightly from our peaceful retreat.

Attentive and friendly staff.
During our stay, the wifi only worked for the first day, leaving us without any internet for four days. The room was quite dark, making it challenging to read, especially for someone with poor eyesight. Thankfully, the front desk provided us with a desk lamp, which was a small comfort in an otherwise frustrating experience.

The lodge is a wonderful spot to unwind after long travels, especially with a toddler. Breakfast was delightful, with picturesque views of the lake. We were thrilled to see a mother orangutan with her baby nearby during our meal. Really makes it special!
In my wife’s opinion, they should have a small play area for kids. Just a little space would make it a lot easier for families.

magical experiences , but limited connectivity
The rooms were stunning, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings, providing a sense of serenity. The staff went above and beyond, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home. Watching the orangutans from our balcony was a breathtaking experience that we will never forget. This place truly excelled in giving us memorable moments.
The only downside was the limited wi-fi, available only in public areas, which made it hard to stay connected during our stay.

The cabin offered a serene escape with its spacious design and high vaulted wooden ceilings. A highlight was the delicious locally caught fish served at the restaurant, which also provided stunning views of the surrounding nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and even assisted us with our water bottle, ensuring our stay was comfortable. However, the Wi-Fi was limited to public areas, and we found ourselves wanting more charging outlets in the room.
